Annual Spring Plant Sale at Gwinnett Tech April 16-18

The school's horticulture program will have annuals, perennials, shrubs and more for sale.

If you are looking for ways to spruce up your lawn or garden, Gwinnett Tech soon can help. The Lawrenceville school's horticulture program will hold its annual spring plant sale on April 16-18, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the school's greenhouse, according to a news release. The sale will offer: “I know every year we say the plant sale gets better, but the greenhouse is spectacular. The students have pulled together the best looking and the healthiest plants ever.  There are more varieties than we have time to list and I think our supporters will be pleased,” Aaron Poulsen, Horticulture program director, said in the news release. Horticulture Program at Gwinnett Tech Hosts Fall Plant Sale

Pansies, vegetables, herbs and more available at annual plant sale in Lawrenceville.

The Environmental Horticulture program at Gwinnett Technical College will host a fall public plant sale Oct. 16-18. The sale will run daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the school's greenhouse located near building 600 on the Lawrenceville campus. "We had such a great response to our expanded sale last year that we are again hosting the sale for three full days. We have a great selection, including flats of annuals for fall planting and fall herbs and vegetables," stated Aaron Poulsen, program director, Environmental Horticulture at Gwinnett Tech in a press release. Gwinnett Tech Purchases Land for N. Fulton Campus

The Technical College System board approved buying 25 acres at the intersection of GA 400 and Old Milton Parkway, across from the Avalon site.

Alpharetta will be home for a satellite campus of Gwinnett Technical College with the approval of a purchase of approximately 25 acres of land at GA 400 and Old Milton Parkway, it was announced Monday, Oct. 1 The Technical College System of Georgia board approved the recommendation from Gwinnett Tech’s North Fulton County Site Selection Committee at its Sept. 26 meeting. The recommendation process began in May with the opening of an indication of interest for the North Fulton County Campus Site. Landscaping author Jane Bath will speak as part of the Gwinnett County Public Library's Meet the Author series.

  Peachtree Corners gardeners looking for plants for their flower beds and yards can find them at the annual community plant sale at the Gwinnett Tech greenhouse April 17-19. Sale hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Also, landscape designer and author Jane Bath will be speaking April 17 at 11 a.m. She will discuss gardening and landscape design solutions that are included in her book "The Landscape Design Answer Book." Her book will be available for purchase and signing from 9 a.m. to noon. Her appearance is part of the library's Meet the Author series. Gwinnett Tech Plant Sale To Run Three Days

Seasonal event will be at Lawrenceville campus Oct. 18-20.

Gwinnett Tech's annual community plant sale is set for Oct. 18-20, in the campus greenhouse near Building 600. Hours will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. It is the first time the sale will run three days. "Our fall plant sale will be a great mix of old standbys, exciting new varieties and hard to find plant favorites that our customers have come to expect from us," said Roni Trimble, coordinator of greenhouse operations, in a news release. "There's the chance for a surprise around every corner and as always, we offer outstanding price."
