Halloween is Wednesday, and children will be knocking on doors throughout the neighborhood asking for candy. But, could one of those bells be to the home of a sex offender? Checking with the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office's website, we found 49 registered sex offenders with a Norcross and Peachtree Corners addresses. The number of registered sex offenders in several adjacent cities are: There is also a list of 21 noncompliant sex offenders -- those not checking in with the law enforcement -- whose locations are unknown. October brings great fall weather and ends with one of America's favorite holidays - Halloween. In Peachtree Corners the streets are filled with happy children going from house to house collecting candy. Pumpkins - those orange orbs start popping up everywhere in Peachtree Corners this time of the year. Their deep orange color is ideal for decorating your home for the fall. We found some family-friendly pumpkin-decorating ideas that don't require carving. These ideas will surely take you beyond the jack o'lanterns of old. 1: Make a mummy pumpkin. Pick up a pair of those goofy googly eyes from a craft or hobby shop, wrap the pumpkin in cheese cloth for a Halloween decoration that's perfect for greeting trick or treaters. 2. Do you decorate your home for Halloween? If so, Sunday may be the perfect day. I've been around the Trick-or-Treat block more than a few times and decorating the outside of the house has become one of the family's favorite things to do each year. Interested in living in a “haunted house” complete with scary noises, flickering lights, and “ghosts.” A replica of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion in Anaheim, CA, that was built in Duluth’s Sweet Bottom Plantation is for sale just in time for Halloween. Theme Park Connection is selling the more than 10,000-square-foot home in the gated community.
