'Hunger Games' Takes 5 People's Choice Awards

The fan-voted 39th Annual People's Choice Awards was held Wednesday night at the Nokia Theatre L.A.

The movie "The Hunger Games" was the victor at the 39th Annual People's Choice Awards capturing five trophies. The movie won in the categories of "favorite movie," "action movie" and "movie franchise." Jennifer Lawrence won in the category "favorite face of heroism" and "favorite movie actress." -- Did you see the movie? Do you think it should have won the "favorite movie" award? New Katy Perry Film Showing in Peachtree Corners

'Katy Perry: Part Of Me' is playing at the Big Cinemas Peachtree 8 theater.

Fans of singer Katy Perry -- and yes, there are quite a few of them, including Peachtree Corners and Gwinnett -- can catch their fave's new film. Big Cinemas Peachtree 8 is showing the documentary "Katy Perry: Part Of Me" Friday at 3:05, 5:40, 8:05 and 10:20 p.m. According to a review in the Kansas City Star, "Katy Perry: Part of Me" is not a concert film (although there is ample performance footage); it is not a chronicle of her life. "Part of Me" is Perry's visually spectacular testimonial to her own determination to follow her dreams.
