Police are investigating the fatality; no charges have been filed.
Suwanee Police are investigating a fatal shooting from last week in which a man said he "accidentally shot his wife in the head" in their Riverview Run Lane home. According to police records, a man identified as Steven Thomas told police dispatch about the incident; officers responded on Oct. 10 about 3 a.m. The deceased woman is identified as Charissa Thomas; officers found her lying face up at the top of the staircase, with a gun positioned between her legs and a cell phone next to her body. There was a "large amount of blood" on her head, face and body, the incident report said.
