Forsyth County man kills wife, then himself. Authorities believe the couple were having marital problems.

A married Forsyth County couple who authorities believe were having marital problems were found dead Monday night in an apparent murder-suicide, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. Investigators said a 65-year-old man called 911 around 9:40 p.m. and told the dispatcher that he had killed his 66-year-old wife with a .357 Magnum gun. He then told the dispatcher that he was going to leave the front door unlocked and was going to kill himself. When deputies arrived at the couple's home, located in a south Forsyth subdivision off Bagley Drive, they tried to make contact with the man via a public address radio. Man, Woman Discovered Slain in Grayson

A couple, both in their 80s, found by Gwinnett Police Sunday morning.

A couple in their 80s were involved in an apparent murder-suicide Sunday morning in Grayson. According to a press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, officers responded to a report of a suicide at 2142 Loganville Highway in Grayson at about 7 a.m. This is the location of the First Baptist Church of Grayson. The officer located the two deceased persons and reported that the preliminary investigation indicates that their deaths were the result of a murder suicide.  "At this time we are not releasing the names of the deceased pending notification of next of kin," public information officer Cpl. Jennifer Roberts said in a press release.
