The NFC Championship weekend begins Sunday at 3 p.m. on Fox when the Atlanta Falcons host the San Francisco 49ers at the Georgia Dome to determine the NFC champion. A win will send the Falcons to the Super Bowl for only the second time in the team's history. They made it the Super Bowl in the 1998 season in Super Bowl XXXIII. Then, at 6:30 p.m., on CBS, the New England Patriots kick off against rival Baltimore Ravens at Gillette Stadium in the AFC Championship Game Sunday. The Seattle Seahawks face the Atlanta Falcons today in the second-round NFC division playoff game. It's a home game for the Falcons, the game start is 1 p.m. Jan. 13 at the Georgia Dome, and will be televised on Fox. Statistician Nate Silver predicted that the Seahawks will face the Patriots in the Super Bowl, but Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson and the Seahawks need first to get through what could be a tough game in Atlanta against the Falcons and their quarterback Matt Ryan.
