Seven Duluth Wildcats Sign Letters of Intent

Athletes and their parents congratulated at National Signing Day ceremony for football at Duluth High School.

Seven Duluth High School Wildcats signed letters of intent Wednesday (Feb. 6) to play football at Stetson University, Georgia Southern University, Clark Atlanta University, and Atlanta Sports Academy in the fall. The athletes were joined by coaches, teachers, family and friends for the National Signing Day ceremony at DHS. The signees were: Also recognized, but not present, was DB Javier Walker, who graduated in 2011 and attended Itawamba Community College. Williams is transferring to play football at Middle Tennessee State University. New DHS Principal Anthony Smith, Athletic Director Bill Navas and Head Football Coach Corey Jarvis congratulated the honorees and their parents. Jarvis praised each athlete and their accomplishments. Blue Devils Sign Letters of Intent

Six Norcross High football players committed to colleges on National Signing Day.

Six Norcross High football players signed letters of intent for different colleges on National Signing Day in front of a full auditorium. "We take pride in what we do on the field, we take pride in what we do off the field," said head coach Keith Maloof in a live broadcast shown on PlayOn! Sports. "These young men have done an outstanding job." The Blue Devils who signed Wednesday are: "I really wanted to thank my coaches and all of my linemen for being my friends over the years, and help me become the person I am today," said Ledford during his signing. National Signing Day: Three Peachtree Corners GAC Students Announce Their Selections

Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans Andrew Lewis, Peter Whiteneck and Daniel Yoon have signed letters of intent to play college football. Find out where these young men will be heading in the fall.

It's National Signing Day - the first day a high school student may sign a national letter of intent to play college football. And today three football standouts who live in Peachtree Corners and attend Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross have made committments. Congratulations to Andrew Lewis, Peter Whiteneck and Daniel Yoon. Andrew Lewis – Virginia Military Institute Located in Lexington, Virginia, VMI is an FCS program and member of the Big South Conference. Andrew played Tight End and Defensive End for GAC, battling back from an early season injury to finish the season strong and help the Spartans advance to the GHSA AA Semi-Finals.
