As you already know, every high school football game is a big one in Gwinnett County. But which one is THE game of the week? That's where you come in. Vote in our Gwinnett Football Game of the Week poll below and tell us which game you think we should feature later this week. Last week's winner — Grayson at Parkview — fit the distinction perfectly. Parkview beat former No. 1 Grayson 22-7 in Lilburn. High School Football Prediction: Hey, why not? Norcross can be tough to beat.
High School Football Prediction Norcross (8-2) at Dacula (7-3) The season began for both of these teams with this same matchup on Aug. 18 (a 35-7 Norcross). That was a long time ago, and things have changed for both teams. The win began a 5-0 start for Norcross, which looked like the team to beat in Region 7-AAAAA until back-to-back losses to North Gwinnett and Peachtree Ridge essentially secured third place for the Blue Devils. Dacula started 0-2, but beat Brookwood in week 3 and finished the season winning six of seven. Norcross, with steady Joseph Wilber at quarterback and a slew of talented offensive players around him, including 1,000-yard rusher Alvin Kamara, has what it takes to win some playoff games. A look back and a look ahead for Peachtree Corners high school football fans.
High school football is back and now every team in the area has at least one game under its belt. Here’s a brief look at the football action from the weekend in Peachtree Corners Patch: Norcross High School 35, Dacula 7 – The Blue Devils scored twice in the first half and had a two-touchdown lead at halftime, Norcross's quarterback, Joseph Wilber tossed for over 200 yards. Touchdowns came from fullback Tanner Maloof, who scored twice. Wide receiver Anthony Autry and running backs Jordan Dooley and Curtis Whisby each put one touchdown on the board.
