Peachtree Corners City Leaders Announce New City Clerk Hired

A long-time local resident was hired for the city clerk position which rounds out the three full-time employees for the new city.

Peachtree Corners Mayor and City Council recently announced that it has hired a City Clerk. The recent hire now completes the three key employees who will handle the day to day operations of the city. Kym Chereck, a 16-year resident of Chattahoochee Station in Peachtree Corners, was selected to fill the City Clerk position. Chereck has for the past 11 years worked as the Recording Secretary for the City of Alpharetta. She officially begins her new job as City Clerk for Peachtree Corners on Monday, Dec. 3. "We are very pleased to announce that we have offered Kym the position of City Clerk," said Mayor Mike Mason.
