Peachtree Corners Man Dies in Traffic Accident in Cobb Co.

LTC Byron Craig Brown (Ret), 67, of Peachtree Corners, GA, died in a traffic accident on Nov 4 in Cobb County. He was born Nov 2 in Aurora, CO, to Byron Winfield and Eleanor Jean Comolli Brown of Greenville, OH. He and his two brothers, Bruce Allen Brown, Manhattan Beach, CA, and Gary Lee Brown, Centralia, WA, moved with their parents to Army posts in Ft. Sam Houston, TX, Ft. Belvoir, VA, and Japan. All three Brown brothers attained Eagle Scout rank and continued the military tradition of the family. Byron graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in Alexandria, VA, and completed his BS in Political Science at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN, in 1967.
