The Norcross Blue Devils beat the South Gwinnett Comets 27-7 last Friday, Nov. 23, in the second round of football playoffs. Norcross also played South Gwinnett earlier this year in the 2012 season opener at Snellville, and the Blue Devils won 35-20. Norcross High remains undefeated this season with 12 wins. The team's next game will be against the Camden County High Wildcats next Friday, Nov. 30, and it will be determined this Saturday, Nov. 23, if the game will be held at the Blue Devils stadium or at Camden. The Blue Devils (8-2), who beat Mountain View 49-33 Friday night in their final regular-season game, will be the No. 3 seed from Region 7-AAAAA, and play at Dacula, the No. 2 seed from Region 8-AAAAA. It will be the second time the Blue Devils (8-2) will have faced the Falcons (7-3) this season. Norcross beat Dacula 35-7 in the season-opener on Aug. 18.
