Two-year-old female is house trained, spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on her shots.
Meet "Callie Girl"! She is a Lab mix approximately 2 years old, and weighs 60 pounds and has been spayed, up-to-date on all vetting/shots, microchipped, house-trained, and very much crate-trained. She loves to go into her "safe place" (her crate) periodically to get away from her other furry siblings and the hustle and bustle of her foster home and family. Her favorite thing to do while chilling out in her crate is to chew on her rawhide bones. She does love roaming around in her home and playing with the other foster dogs but she also loves her special space that's all her own! Callie Girl was rescued from the Murray County Animal Shelter by an Angels Among Us Pet Rescue volunteer. Once Angels got to the shelter, they discovered Callie …

Chung was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is looking for a home for Christmas.
Meet Chung, who answers to Oscar! Chung is a male Pekingese, approximately 3-4 years old, who weighs in at 17 pounds of pure love and affection! He's like most of his breed and wants to be the center of his human's world and be spoiled and loved. This young dog was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Georgia and was a victim of physical abuse in his former life before coming into the Angels Among Us organization. When they found him, he had terribly matted fur and was literally afraid of everyone! Now, he is a healthy, happy dog looking for a home and family to call his very own for Christmas! He had a pretty rough start in life but has learned to trust humans again and now wants to show that he can love again, with the right family and…

Meet Sally Belle, an 8-year-old old Sheltie/Corgi mix who weighs around 23 pounds and is available for adoption through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. Sally is a loving, mature dog who is 100 percent house-trained, but will softly bark when she's ready to go "pottie." She is quiet as a mouse the rest of the time - not a barker at all. Apparently, little Sally Belle had been abandoned by her previous owners and was picked up wandering the streets alone. After being brought into animal control, it was discovered this older girl had a tumor on her neck. The shelter suspected due to her age and medical condition, this poor girl had been dumped and left to fend for herself or die alone. She is so well-behaved, not a "runner," not aggressive in …

Although precious little Amanda, a Beagle/Italian Greyhound mix, is only 9 months old and weighs a mere 8 pounds, she has been through quite a bit in her short little life. Amanda was a stray who ended up in a rural shelter in Georgia but her luck changed when Angels Among Us spotted her and knew this girl need a home. Right after she was saved from the shelter, this precious little girl broke with the deadly Parvo virus. She became extremely ill and almost lost her life, but Amanda is a fighter and she was determined to pull through and live. Looking at Amanda today, you would never find or see a clue that she has ever had one moment of bad luck. This girl loves every dog she meets and every human, and there are no "strangers" in …

Two-year old Nala is a current resident at the Atlanta Humane Society's new Alpharetta facility. She's a staff and volunteer favorite, and is a lovely girl whom we think is a Rottweiler-Hound mix. At about 50 pounds, she's a great size for a family dog. most importantly, however, is her very quiet and calm personality. She is very friendly and likes everyone! She does very well on her walks, and just seems to be an all-round great doggie! Nala came to AHS from another shelter, and we think that it's time that she finally finds her forever home! Poor Nala looks up hopefully everytime visitors walk by, but for some reason keeps getting overlooked. "What about me??" we can almost hear her say. Are you the the person or family who can …
