The weekly Gwinnett County road closure report from the Gwinnett DOT (for weekending May 17). The Gwinnett Department of Transportation says work associated with the construction of Pleasant Hill Road's diverging diamon interchange will require nightly lane closures. The lane closures should occur for three weeks, starting Sunday, May 12. Closures are expected between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. One other construction project was added to this week's list of lane closures: Lawrenceville Two others were removed: Buford: Camp Branch Road from Kilgore Road to Wallace Road, which saw culvert improvements. Lilburn: Baltimore Avenue from Village Creek Drive intersection, which had drainage improvements.

Peachtree Corners commuters: Before heading out the door, check the list of road and lane closures and avoid delays on Gwinnett roads.
Following is the Gwinnett Department of Transportation's list of roads under construction for the week ending Feb. 22, 2013. · Alcovy Road from Campbell Road to West Drowning Creek Road will require intermittent lane closure through March for roadway improvements associated with Sugarloaf Parkway extension, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm. · Camp Branch Road from Kilgore Road to Wallace Road will close on January 28 for approximately two months for culvert improvements. This week the Gwinnett DOT reports that 40 roads are either under repair or closed due to construction. For Peachtree Corners commuters a reminder: North Berkeley Lake Road remains closed until Feburary 2013 while repairs are made to the dam. Before you head out the door this week, we've got the road construction report from the Gwinnett Department of Transporation for the week ending Sept. 9. The list includes 44 roads; a reminder for Peachtree Corners drivers, North Berkeley Lake Road remains closed due to construction on the Berkeley Lake dam. Not included in GDOT's list is Engineering Drive, which was closed to all through traffic last Thursday by Gwinnett Water Department for repairs that are causing a minor sinkhole. Repairs may take up to two weeks said a spokesman for the water department. The county has announced its list of road and lance closures for the week ending May 11.
