Was Showing of 'Seal Team Six' Two Days Before Election Political?

People have criticized the showing of "Seal Team Six," the movie about the killing of Osama bin Laden, saying it is an attempt to help the president in his reelection bid. What do you think?

  "Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden," a made for TV movie about the killing of Osama bin Laden, was shown Sunday night on the National Georgraphic Channel. Some have said it was an attempt to aid President Barack Obama in his reelection bid. According to a story in Reuters, however, a TV executive rejected the claims. Although ackowledging that the proximity of the election was not lost on them, David Lyle, chief executive of National Georgraphic Channel, told Reuters that it was shown because it was thought to be of interest to viewers.
