Peachtree Corners Business Hosts Science Day for Elementary Students
Employees of Siemens Corp. in Peachtree Corners conducted demos at the Norcross school to teach fifth graders the importance of science and math.
Employees of Siemens Corp. in Peachtree Corners volunteered their time for a Siemens Science Day at Meadowcreek Elementary School in Norcross. The entire fifth grade class was invited to participate in three different demos that the Siemens volunteers conducted last Friday, Feb. 22. The Electrical Engineering station involved electricity and lights; students made silly putty at the Chemical Engineering demo; and another Chemical station showed the creation of lava lamps by mixing oil and water.
