Victim of Monday Train Accident Has Been Identified
Gwinnett County medical examiner has ruled the death an accident.
Update: 4 p.m.,Wednesday, Feb. 6 The identity of the man who was struck and killed by a Norfolk Southern train Monday afternoon has been released. The victim was Devonn Graham, a 37-year-old man from Norcross, said Chief Investigator Ted Bailey with the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner's office. The cause of death was "blunt force trama," which was the result of being struck by the train, said Bailey. "His death has been ruled as accidental." Police had speculated that Graham may have intentionally remained on the train tracks after repeated warnings from the train's conductor, but Bailey ruled out suicide.
