Predictions for Mill Creek-Norcross, Grayson-Shiloh, Parkview-Brookwood, South-Central, and eight other contests.
Well, there may be bigger games in this week, unless you ask fans of Grayson and Shiloh high schools. Our reader-decided Gwinnett Football Game of the Week, matches teams of completely opposite pedigrees — Grayson is the defending state champion, Shiloh hasn't had a winning season since 2003. But here they are, both 3-1 overall and 1-1 in Region 8-AAAAAA, with very real aspirations for reaching the playoffs. Let's be honest, however. A lot will have to happen for the Shiloh Generals to win, which would be about as big of a win as they've ever had. At the same time, Grayson has shown the capability of making game-changing mistakes. Turnovers doomed the Rams, the top-ranked team in Georgia and the nation, in its 22-7 loss to Parkview two …

Wesleyan's season ends with 16-7 loss in Region 5-A play-in game.
Landmark Christian used first-half touchdowns from Chase McFarlin and Donald Payne, then held Wesleyan at bay with a smothering defense to take a 16-7 victory over the Wolves in a Region 5-A play-in contest at Henderson Stadium. The loss prevented Wesleyan from making the first playoffs for the first time in four seasons. The War Eagles (8-2, 4-2 in Region 5-A) took the opening kickoff and marched 80 yards in 12 plays, taking a 6-0 lead on McFarlin's 6-yard scoring run with 7:16 left in the first quarter. Wesleyan responded with a drive to the Landmark 35-yard lie, but Eric Sunderman's 52-yard field goal try sailed just wide right. Wesleyan (7-3, 5-1) finally got on the board midway through the second quarter. Following a Landmark punt, …
