Beautiful Collie Mix Looking for a Home

Young female dog has been spayed, micro-chipped, up to date on her shots and ready for adoption through the Angels Among Us Pet Rescue group.

Meet Tiana, a female Collie-mix, who is approximately seven (7) months old and weighs 25 pounds. She has been spayed, micro-chipped, up to date on all her shots and vetting. Tiana is also crate-trained and sleeps in her crate all night with no problems or potty accidents and is almost completely house trained. She still has an occasional accident but is about 80 percent trained. She would do well with a family who is home and can take her outside often enough to reinforce her potty training. This young pup loves children, is good with other dogs, is "interested" in cats but shows no aggression towards them. Her foster says the only "problem" she has is being excited when meeting people and wanting to jump up, in true excited puppy fashion…

Sweet German Shepherd-Corgi Mix Seeks Forever Home

Gunther is available for adoption from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet Gunther, a male German Shepherd-Corgi mix who is about a year old and weighs about 25 pounds. He may gain a bit more weight, but not much. Young Daschund-Yorkie Mix Needs a Home

Little Cilla is available for adoption from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet little Cilla, a Daschund-Yorkie mix girl who is around 1 year of age and weighs approximately 8 pounds. And every pound is full of love and affection.  Even though Cilla is small, her heart is as big as the sky and full of love and hope for a family and home of her own. Cilla is spayed, 98 percent house trained (100 percent if taken out periodically), microchipped and up-to-date on all vetting and shots.  She is also crate-trained. Young Shepherd Mix Sure to Steal Your Heart

Sweet, affectionate Arlene is ready for a loving family to adopt her.

Meet Arlene, a 7-month-old female cattle dog/shepherd mix. She weighs in currently at 30 pounds and will probably be a bit larger, but should wind up a nice medium-size adult. Arlene is spayed, fully vetted, up-to-date on her shots and preventatives, and is micro-chipped. She is also crate-trained and house-trained and walks very well on leash. At only 5-weeks old, Arlene and her siblings were found abandoned at a local animal control shelter at night, dumped inside a box and left at the doorstep.  When rescued, they were all emaciated, anemic, loaded with worms, fleas and other parasites!   Angels Among Us Pet Rescue took care of getting them and all have been adopted.  Sweet Arlene (now named Georgia) was also adopted but, unfortunately…

A Bundle of Love Ready For A Home

Fife is available for adoption from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet little Fife. This precious boy weighs around 10 pounds and is 10 weeks old. Volunteers from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue think he may be a Shiba Inu mix of some sort, but as you can from his face, he has a very unique look. Little Fife is up-to-date with all his shots, is fully vetted, and will be neutered when he reaches 20 weeks old. This boy is perfect now, but he had a very horrendous start in life. Fife came to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue as a stray. When he was found and brought into the shelter, he was around 3-1/2 pounds, barely able to stand, malnourished and very close to death. Shy, Loving Dog Needs a Forever Home

Chip is a male Schipperkee mix who is 3-4 years old and weighs approximately 30 pounds. He is neutered, house- and crate-trained, will willingly go to the door and bark to be let outside, if needed.  He is up-to-date on all his shots, vetting, preventatives, and is microchipped.  This precious dog has several strikes against him: 1) he caries the stigma of being a black dog, 2) he's a special-needs doggie, and 3) he's not as outgoing as others at adoption events and often gets overlooked.  Chip came to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue from a "hoarding" case in Cherokee County almost two years ago. Chihuahua Mix Named Ivan Ready for Adoption

Meet Ivan, a male Chihuahua mix who is approximately 3-4 years old and weighs 10 pounds.  He is neutered, 90 percent house-trained, is up-to-date with all his shots and vetting, is micro-chipped and is ready to find the right, perfect family and forever home.   Ivan came to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue from a high-kill shelter where he was dumped by his previous owner. As he was being left, his owner stated she "wanted nothing to do with him" and simply walked out.  This precious dog was so traumatized by his experience, he had to be sedated at the vet's office when receiving his initial checkup and care. Chung was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is looking for a home for Christmas.

Meet Chung, who answers to Oscar! Chung is a male Pekingese, approximately 3-4 years old, who weighs in at 17 pounds of pure love and affection! He's like most of his breed and wants to be the center of his human's world and be spoiled and loved. Loving German Shepherd Mix Needs Home

Bogart is 50 pounds of grace and affection.

This is Bogart, a male white German Shepherd-mix dog, who weighs approximately 50 pounds and is a little over a year old.  Bogart was found one Sunday afternoon in a rural shelter by one of the co-founders of Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. She was told he only had a few hours to live before the time scheduled to put thim down. She took him outside, to give him one more opportunity to feel the sun on his face, to romp and play and be free for a little while before his time would come to cross the rainbow bridge.  Instead of running and playing, or even begging for the treats in her pocket, this beautiful white dog chose to tenderly place his face in her hands, resting there while he soaked up the touch of a human who had taken some time to …

Doggie Duo Looking for a Home to Share

Bonded Lab mixes must be adopted together.

Meet Foxy and Wesley, a bonded pair of Lab/Retriever mixed dogs who are looking for and needing a home together. Foxy is a female, approximately 7 years old, who weighs about 69 pounds, and Wesley, her brother, who is around 8 years old, weighs around 73 pounds. When they came to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, both were overfed and overweight from an owner who pampered them and over-indulged them, but both have lost weight and are now at very good weights for their breed.  Foxy and Wesley were raised by a very loving, caring owner who unfortunately had to give them up at Thanksgiving last year due to a very invasive and fast-moving cancer.  She loved them dearly but could no longer care for them.
