Video: Suspects Sought in Cell Phone Store Robberies

Gwinnett police are looking for the public's help in capturing and identifying those responsible for a series of armed robberies at cell phone stores in Norcross and Snellville.

A suspect or suspects recently have been busy robbing cell phone stores in Gwinnett and police want the public's help to nab the culprits.  There have been at least seven robberies, including six pegged to unincorporated Norcross and one in unincorporated Snellville, according to a press statement from the Gwinnett County Police Department. Police said the robberies occurred between May 26 and July 24 of this year.  In each incident, police say one or two black male suspects robbed the stores at gunpoint. At least one of the suspects captured on surveillance video in each case appears to be the same person, said Cpl. Jake Smith, in a press release. Serial Robber Nabbed by Police

"Armed and dangerous" suspect was sought in 15 Gwinnett County robberies that began on Nov. 30. Norcross Police identified the suspect's car, leading to his arrest.

Gwinnett County Police have arrested a man they believe to be responsible for 15 armed robberies within Gwinnett County. According to police, the suspect primarily targeted cell phone stores but has also robbed two appliance stores, a tobacco shop, and attempted a robbery at a Days Inn. Five of the robberies have occurred within city jurisdictions. Norcross Police, Lawrenceville Police and Lilburn Police investigated those incidents. After Norcross Police identified the man's tags using surveillance footage, Gwinnett Police were able to narrow the list of suspects to just a few.
