A Tucker resident stopped off at a convenience store to pick something up and walked out a wealthy man. Fekadu Lola, 51, won $500,000 on the Georgia Lottery’s Cash Deluxe instant scratch-off game last week. The ticket was bought at a Chevron Food Mart on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in Atlanta, and Lola claimed his prize at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Duluth.
After winning $10,000 in May in the Maxim Green Extra Chance drawing, Chad Millsaps won another $10,000 this month.

For Chad Millsaps, of Loganville, once was not enough – at least not when it came to the Georgia lottery. After winning $10,000 in May in the Maxim Green Extra Chance drawing, he was surprised to win again in July, taking home a second $10,000 just two months later. “I’ve had good luck with Maximum Green,” he said. This time he plans to take his family on vacation.
