Humane Society Wants You to Adopt Sweet, Spunky Becca

This extremely playful cat enjoys snuggly beds and is ready to take home.

This week the Atlanta Humane Society wants to highlight our sweet, spunky Becca. Becca is a 7-month-old domestic shorthair mix with the prettiest tabby coat. Her markings are very unique with a grey and orange tabby pattern alternating with solid white. Becca is very loving and enjoys snuggly beds and toys. She is extremely playful and would love to find a home committed to spending time playing with her. Becca can be a little shy initially but once she warms up she is spunky and cheerful. Loving Young Cat Needs Loving Home

Tatiana, a 9-months-old female kitten, is affectionate, has had all her shots and ready for adoption.

Beautiful Tatiana ended up at a county animal control facility with a bleak future. However, the staff at the facility liked her so much that they reached out to Angels Among Us to see if we could find room for one more kitty. And are we glad that one of our treasured foster providers stepped up for this sweet little girl! Tatiana is so anxious to show her appreciation for being safe and loved that she stays underfoot all the time, and her foster mom and dad have to be careful not to trip over the grateful kitty. Playful Young Cat Abandoned; Needs Loving Family

Abner is an affectionate kitten ready for adoption.

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue is looking for a new home for Abner, a sweet 10-12 month old short-haired black kitty. According to Abner's foster mom, this is the most affectionate kitty ever! He was found on a neighbor's back porch on one of the coldest winter nights in December. Although Abner was scared, he ran into her arms as soon as he realized she wanted to help. It was later determined that he was abandoned by his owner who had moved away. Poor Abner was in a half-starvation state and in need of medical care. It took him a while to recover from several months of deprivation, but he is doing great now! Abner is quite the teenager with his antics! Frankie Abandoned; Still Waiting for a Good Home

Friendly feline, just over a year old, loves attention and is ready for adoption.

  Angels Among Us Pet Rescue is looking for a home for an extremely personable and sweet guy that was abandoned at an apartment complex last year. We knew right away that Frankie had an indomitable spirit in surviving for so long even through a horrible winter storm week. Frankie is now about one and a half years old and lives in a foster home along with two other cats (a male and a female). Frankie very much likes attention, and immediately runs up to you when you come into the room. He is playful, but also content just to hang out with you. Sweet Siblings Want New Home In the New Year

Friendly pair of kittens, Bernie and Bernice are ready for adoption.

  Lovely Bernie and Bernice, who are 9-month old kitty "teenagers," were abandoned by an owner who apparently no longer wanted to be bothered with caring for them.  These super friendly young cats are still young enough to display kitten-like behavior, but old enough to show that they are already great "lap cats"!  Bernie is a tabby and white guy who was friendly with his rescuer from the get-go. A very confident little guy, he instantly made himself at home at his foster house. No hiding under the bed with this guy! Shy Siamese-Tabby Mix Looking for New Home

Sweet blue-eyed cat lost her home when her family lost theirs to foreclosure.

Coco Puff is a beautiful and sweet Siamese-Tabby mix with blue eyes and chocolate, light brown, cream, and white markings. (Her photos really don't do her justice!) We believe she is between 3 and 4 years old. She and her buddy (since adopted) found themselves homeless when their owner lost her home to a foreclosure. Coco Puff is initially very timid when she meets you, and is scared of new people and new situations. Sadly, this issue has prevented her from finding her forever home. However, once she gets to know and trust you, she is like a different cat. Then she wants to be your best friend, runs up to you when you enter the room, and likes to be held and stroked. Sweet Little Cat Abandoned, Now Looking for Good Home

Addison is an affectionate kitten ready for adoption.

Little Addison was apparently abandoned and taken in by a Good Samaratin. A number of Angels volunteers heard about this striking and affectionate little cat, and resolved to help out. As a result, this young cat is now in the Angels Among Us adoption program and has received all her vet work. She was lucky enough to be placed in one of our wonderful foster homes, and is now anxiously awaiting placement in a forever home. Addison's foster folks say that she just couldn't be friendlier, and that all she wants is for someone to feed her, give her water, and to pet her.
