Gwinnett Ballet Theatre recently launched its 31st annual production of “The Nutcracker” at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center in Duluth. GBT’s production, the second largest in the Atlanta metro area, offers 11 public performances and five outreach shows. The first public performance was Saturday, Dec. 1, at 2:30 p.m. Shows will continue through Sunday, Dec. 16. During this busy Christmas season, you don’t have to drive downtown or even to another community to see the spectacular Nutcracker Ballet. This year, for the first time, it is being performed in Johns Creek. The Atlanta Professional Dance Academy and Perimeter Academy of the Arts Ballet are combining their talents to bring this performance to our community.
