WEATHER UPDATE: 'Wintry Mix' Predicted for Friday
The crisp dry weather and clear skies is expected to give way to freezing rain and snow by the end of the week.
Weather forecast update: This morning the National Weather Service reports that Thursday will be mostly sunny with high temperature around 50 degrees. The original report called for a "wintry mix" to roll in around 3 p.m. The good news is it appears now we're in for another day of sunshine but Friday will be a different story. The NWS forecast for tomorrow is: That means there is a chance that school will be cancelled. We will post any news of school closings as soon as possible. In the meantime, expect a run at the grocery stores. ----- The threat of cold, wet weather is looming for Peachtree Corners and Gwinnett later this week.
