About Alex
I am a Georgia native (few and far between it seems here in our area) who has lived in Peachtree Corners since 2003. I am married with four children ranging in age from 4 to 14. I am a proud graduate of Monroe Area High School, Georgia Tech (Bachelor's of Science in Managment) and Wake Forest (MBA). After graduating from Georgia Tech I served four years as a Naval Officer in a variety of roles onboard the USS El Paso (LKA-117) and USS Briscoe (DD-977) including a deployment to Somalia during Operation Restore Hope. After leaving the Navy I went back to graduate school and since graduation I have worked in corporate finance for the past twelve years for a variety of companies in Washington DC, North Carolina and Georgia. Hobbies include spending time with my family, running, coaching my kids sports teams, history, politics and my yard.
During the cityhood incorporation debate I was an unabashed supporter of the new city and wrote an ongoing blog here on the Patch advocating strongly for incorporation.
After the residents of Peachtree Corners voted for a new city in November 2011 I decided to run for City Council and after a long, hard fought campaign I was fortunate to be elected to the new City Council - Post 3.
We have taken down our campaign webpage but for now you can contact me on my facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Wright4PCCouncil/149565261815748.

Alex: You are correct, I'm not sure where that rumor got started. I spoke with Lois Salter personally and she assured me that Berkeley Lake had no interest in annexing any of the homes along Bush Road or the Forum as the rumor suggested.

Hi Alex,
I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved
with the film. I think this would be a great story to write about and tell people. I just wanted to pass this along. …Or If it’s not too much trouble, pledge on something (they are offering great things!) and if you can also please pass this along to your friends.
If I can help you out with anything or the production can help you with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Here is the link for the film:
