Lingerie Thieves Have Expensive Taste

Shoplifters made off with $500 worth of Victoria Secret bras at the Peachtree Corners store at The Forum.

It seems that some rather expensive lingerie caught the eye of two shoppers in the Victoria Secret store at the Forum recently and apparently the duo decided to make off with the merchandise without paying for it.

A store employee filed a report of a shoplifting incident with Gwinnett Police that 10 bras worth a total of $500.00 had disappeared from the shelves.

According to the report, a store employee called police around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, to report that the lingerie, which have the brand name, Very Sexy, had been stolen.

The Victoria Secret employee said that a young couple were shopping near the front of the store when she left to go into the back of the store. She said she was gone 5-10 minutes and when she returned the merchandise - and the shoppers - were gone.

The employee described the apparent thieves as an Hispanic male and female in their early 20s. There were no witnesses and the store does not have a video of the incident.

Though she has no evidence she told police that the couple were the only people in the store which lead her to believe they were the shoplifters.

The store's sensors did not go off, the Victoria Secret told police she suspected that the couple were using a sensor-lined bag which was the reason why the store's sensor did not cause an alarm to sound.
