"The Town Hall is a less formal environment than that of a City Council meeting, allowing those who attend the opportunity to ask questions of their mayor and city council members."

Issues to be discussed include the upcoming Nov. 5 election, the city's 2033 Comprehensive Plan, the new contract for trash collection service, the tax plan adopted by city officials for 2014, code enforcement and the city's new municipal judge.

Another issue to be discussed, and that has attracted a great deal of attention from the public, is the plan for the city-owned property located on Peachtree Parkway, directly across from The Forum.

City Council recently approved the Downtown Development Authority choice of Fuqua Development to develop the 20.6 acre site.

Fuqua will develop a conceptual plan to present to the city sometime next spring. Peachtree Corners citizens will have many opportunities to provide input before the plan goes before the Planning Commission then City Council for final approval.

"Even though the Town Hall will be held in District 1, the meeting is open to all citizens," Sadd commented.
