Some thoughts on Peachtree Corners becoming a city and other misc. thoughts

Greetings,

My name is Alex Wright and I was recently asked to start a blog about the Peachtree Corners city hood initiative.  You can read my bio about who I am but basically I am just a regular citizen who believes that incorporating Peachtree Corners into a city is a great idea.  I had no involvement in this process other than watching it from afar online until recently, when after reading some commentaries on a few websites (including this one), I felt the need to respond to what I considered misleading or distorted comments about this whole issue.  Next thing you know I'm here with an opportunity to share my thoughts and opinions with you on this very exciting topic. 

Over the next three to four months in the leadup to the vote in November I will be posting a combination of opinion pieces, research, and commentary/rebuttals to posts and stories I find online including this website.  I look forward to hopefully generating a vigorous exchange of ideas and opinions about this topic that impacts us all here in Peachtree Corners.  I strongly believe that citizens who are fully educated and informed about an issue will always make the right decision. 

On a totally different topic.......  How about the USA Women's National Soccer team moving into the World Cup Finals with a convincing 3-1 victory over France today!  Way to go ladies!  In case you weren't already aware the Finals are Sunday at 2:45 p.m.against Japan.  Go USA!
