Norcross, Duluth High Schools Among Gwinnett Schools Take Part in Successful Relay for Life

Gwinnett County Public Schools takes pride in its involvement in Gwinnett
County’s successful Relay For Life event to honor cancer survivors, educate
the community, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight
the disease. Among the 112 school system teams participating in Relay in
May 2013, a total of 27 school teams and three central office teams each
raised $10,000 or more. Berkmar High, Central Gwinnett High, Collins Hill
High, Cooper Elementary, Couch Middle, Duluth High, Duncan Creek
Elementary, GCPS IMD CD’s, GCPS ISC, GCPS Transportation, Grayson High,
Jackson Elementary, Mason Elementary, McConnell Middle, Mill Creek High,
Minor Elementary, Mountain View High, Norcross High, North Gwinnett High,
North Gwinnett Middle, Oakland Meadow School, Osborne Middle, Peachtree
Ridge High, Pharr Elementary, Pinckneyville Middle, Puckett’s Mill
Elementary, Riverside Elementary, Shiloh Middle, Snellville Middle, and
Taylor Elementary were among the top fundraisers. GCPS Transportation, Mill
Creek High, Norcross High, North Gwinnett High, and Peachtree Ridge High,
together raised a total of $317,008.14. GCPS raised a total of
$1,111,273.65 for the American Cancer Society through Relay For Life.
