Mark your calendar for November 23 at 10 a.m. for the “inaugural” City of Peachtree Corners Christmas Parade! As the newest and largest city in Gwinnett County we are in a unique position of creating traditions to call our own. The holidays are the perfect time to begin something that will make special memories for our citizens for generations to come.

The parade will take place on The Corners Parkway, a lovely tree-lined street with ample parking for all parade-goers (known for hosting the Peachtree Corners Festival at the lower end) just behind Chick-fil-A and Hastings Garden Center.

After the parade, join us at “Candy Cane Lane” (on Woodhill Drive), where Santa will talk to the children about their lists, and there will be an opportunity for a keepsake photo.  We’ll have a variety of food trucks and vendors with tasty Christmas treats for all!

Come to watch over 70 Parade entries including nine floats, Norcross High School Marching Band, Pinckneyville Middle School Chorus, Chopper from the Gwinnett Braves, the Ted’s Montana Grill Bison, the Chick-fil-A Dancing Cow, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, Dancing Groups, Martial Arts Group and last but not least Santa arriving in his horse drawn carriage!

Join us after the Parade from 11-2:00 PM on Candy Cane Lane to talk with Santa, have a photo made and lunch at the food trucks.  I hear that “Mac the Cheese” food truck has agreed to be there, yummy!

If you would like to volunteer there is still time, just call 404-661-6790 or log on to the Christmas in the Corners website for more information.  This is the very first Christmas Parade to be held in the City of Peachtree Corners so we welcome everyone to get involved.
