Peachtree Corners Town Hall Meeting to be Held Monday

House Representative Tom Rice, among speakers to discuss upcoming referendum vote in November. Meeting to be held at Peachtree Corners Baptist Church.

A town hall meeting sponsored by the Peachtree Corners Yes committee is set for Monday, August 29, 2011 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Several speakers will share the history and current status of cityhood leading up to the November 8  vote. Speakers include Georgia House Rep. Tom Rice (R- Dist.51) who was instrumental in passage House Bill 396 through the Georgia legislature.

The bill was signed by the Gov. Nathan Deal on May 11 of this year. Key topics to be included in the meeting included:

There will be time alloted for questions.  

The meeting will be held at the Peachtree Corners Baptist Church, 4480 Peachtree Corners Circle (on the corner of West Jones Bridge Road), 30092.
