Contributions to Annual Giving Campaign Exceeds YMCA's Goal

Did you know that the Peachtree Corners Fowler YMCA maintains a goal that no one be turned away from its programs and services as a result of an inability to pay.

How is this possible? Through the support of the community, generous donors, campaigners and volunteers, the Peachtree Corners facility can continue a financial assistance program enabling people of all ages to participate in Y programs and services regardless of their abilities to pay.

A major source of the funding that makes the Y’s financial assistance possible is generated by the Annual Giving Campaign which kicked off in February, 2013.   Thanks to more than 50 volunteer campaigners and 611 individual donations, including 113 YMCA staff contributions, Fowler Y’s Annual Giving Campaign exceeded its 2013 goal and raised $128,453.68 to date!

Thanks to donations to the Fowler Y’s Annual Campaign, children receive assistance to help cover the cost of their after school care; memberships allow children, teens, adults and seniors to participate in regular fitness and wellness programs at the Y; and provid kids with a happy and wholesome summer camp experiences.
