Popular Pizza Restaurant Upgraded from 64-U

Other Peachtree Corners restaurant scores range from perfect 100-A to 85-B. Find out if your favorite dining spot made the list.

Following is a list of five Peachtree Corners restaurants which have been inspected recently by the Gwinnett County's Board of Health.

The Board inspects area restaurants every six months which are then graded based on an extensive criteria that includes everything from food being stored at proper temperatures to employee hygiene.

Restaurants are required to display these reports in a prominent place for diners to view. This is what we found in a random search of inspections on the county's website.

Grade: 85-B
Comment:  Lemons and limes in the self-service area do not have adequate protection (container has to be opened to dispense). Either place container under adequate sneeze guards OR put lime and lemon slices in individual containers.  New Violation.

Comment: Frills used for sandwiches are being stored in unclean black containers. Containers have particles stored in the bottom. Had employees to wash the containers. Articles should be in a clean, dry location  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.

Comment: Slicer and can opener with a buildup of debris on the blades. Food-contact surfaces must be cleaned at frequency to prevent buildup. The employee decided to clean items.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation. Previous inspection report with a score of 91 is posted instead of current score 64. Most current inspection report must be posted in public view within 15 feet of the primary entrance, 5-7 feet above the floor, and readable from one foot.  New Violation.

Location: 6405 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard
Inspection Date: May 30, 2013
Grade: 86-B
Comments: Unapproved employee drink cups were stored in cooler with customer food. Employee drink cup need in disposable cups with lids and straws and stored in a location away from food, food prep surfaces, single service item, equipment, and utensil. Cups were discarded.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
