"I was finishing lunch at approximately 1:50 p.m. while in my chair watching TV when I felt an odd sensation as if my chair was moving back and forth. It lasted no more than 5 seconds.
"I thought it was a weird sensation as I looked around the room to see if anything else was moving. Not seeing any disturbance, I chalked it up to my vivid imagination. Fifteen minutes later, my wife asked me if I saw the report on TV about an earthquake in the NE Corridor," Bliss said.
