If there’s one thing we can’t forget in February, it is Valentine’s Day.

Romance is all around us — in the stores, on TV and in those little hints we drop for that special someone about just where we would like to dine on Valentine's Day.

But what if you don’t have that special someone in your life right now? Maybe you’ve just suffered a bad break-up.

Some people find the approach of Valentine’s Day a time to feel anxious rather than romantic. Some singles have been known to arrange special “non-Valentine” parties Feb. 14 each year — just to make a statement.
