City Council Meeting to be Held Tuesday at New City Hall

Agenda items include public hearings for special requests for changes in property conditions for Wesleyan School and two businesses.

After eight months of meeting at various venues, the Peachtree Corners City Council will hold its first meeting in its new headquarters in Technology Park.

The meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at City Hall located 147 Technology Parkway.

Fowler YMCA had been the site of the majority of the meetings, Christ the King Lutheran Church hosted the first City Council meeting on April 17, and several of the meetings were held at the Atlanta Hilton when the Y wasn't available.

“We are very excited to be holding our first Council meeting at City Hall.  It is another milestone, simple as it is, that shows our progress toward being fully operational," said Mayor Mike Mason.

"One important note, I do want to publicly thank the YMCA for the generous use of their facility as our “interim” City Hall.  They have demonstrated once again that the Fowler Y is an outstanding community citizen.”
