City Council to Hold Special Called Meeting Thursday

The Peachtree Corners City Council's has a full agenda for tonight's meeting

When the the gavel comes down signaling the beginning of the Special Called Meeting at Thursday night's Peachtree Corners City Council meeting, the leaders of the new city have a full plate of items to consider.

On the agenda are reports and presentations from the city consultants on:

  • Budget Overview
  • City Manager Update
  • Banking RFP Update

Under old business, the council will consider and approve an ordinance to set and adopt the city's fiscal year as July 1 - June 30.

Under new business the council will:

  • Review and consider approving the lease for the new city hall at 45 Tech Park.
  • Review and consider approving the millage rate public hearing advertisment for the new city.
  • Consider a proposed short-term agreement for IT Services.
  • Consider a proposed amendment to the city's attorney contract with Riley, McLendon, LLC.
