City Council to Look at Rezoning Peachtree Parkway Property Tuesday

The City of Peachtree Corners City Council's agenda also includes considering a Special Use Permit for property on Amwiler Road. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., Feb. 5.

A Peachtree Corners City Council meeting will be held at City Hall at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5.

The meeting agenda includes:

  • An update by Diana Wheeler on Community Development Planning Issues.
  • Discussion by Julian Jackson on the Inter-governmental Agreement involving the Ad Valorem Tax.

In new business City Council will:

Consider rezoning a 4.32 acre of property from C-2 and RM-13 to C-2 to allow for restaurants, office and retail buildings to be built on land located on the 5100 block of Peachtree Parkway and the 3700 block of Medlock Bridge Raod.

Consider a request for a Special use Permit on a 2.59 acre of land zoned M-1 to allow a truck fleet maintenance facility. The property is located at 2805 amwiler Road.

Pond and Co. will provide an overview of the 2033 Comprehensive Plan project.

Also on the agenda is an opportunity for public comment. The public is welcome to speak during this period.
