Speak Out On Gwinnett's Proposed Millage Rate Change

Residents have until midnight Monday, July 15, to comment on the 2013 proposed millage rate.

Gwinnett County residents have until midnight Monday to comment on the 2013 proposed millage rate. 

The rate changes are due to the county's four newly established service districts. According to information on the county's website, tax bills will reflect levies that are based on a property's location and what services the County provides. Click here to view the proposed millage rate listed by city.

If you missed one of the three public hearings that were scheduled earlier, County Commissioners will be taking comments via an online form.

Then on Tuesday, July 16, the commission will consider the property tax rates during at a business meeting 2 p.m., at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration auditorium located at 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville.
