7 Days

     The time has come.  There's only a couple days left until we decide our future.  The scene is set and the curtain is about to be raised.  The destiny of Peachtree Corners and all of the citizens who live here will be shaped on November 8th.  The question is, what do you believe?

     Do you choose to believe in the naysayers that are scared of change?  Do you listen to the arguments of how terribly taxing a city would be without knowing the facts?  Do you let the rumors of your own elected city council potentially becoming corrupted and spending your tax dollars unwisely keep you from going to the polls and voting "yes" for Peachtree Corners?  Or........

     Do you believe that we can establish the greatest "Live, Work, Play" city that not only Gwinnett, but as well as Georgia has to offer?  Do you believe that our city will create an environment where home and business owners will be attracted to settling here?  Do you believe that our neighbors can represent yours and my interests since they live in the same area that we live in and witness the same local issues that we do?  Do you want a place where you can be proud of to call home, especially since you are the one that helped to create it?  Do you believe that this city will live up to all that we aspire for it?

     Well, I choose to believe in the City of Peachtree Corners and all that it can be.  On November 8th, do not let fear drive you away from the polls, do not let intimidation cause you to make a decision not to vote for the city, and certainly do not afford anyone the opportunity to lead you along with false notions that this city and its citizens will have a bleak future when this city comes into fruition.  Eight days from today, you have a choice.  Make it for your family's future, make it for your community's future, and make it for your own future.  Again, the time has come, so let us all give something to the future generations.  Let's give them a place to call home, let's give them the City of Peachtree Corners.
