Enrollment in Peachtree Corners Public Schools Surpass Projections

Norcross High School, with 3,590 students, has the district's second-largest student enrollment.

Gwinnett County Public Schools just keeps on growing, and so do the schools in Peachtree Corners.

Overall, post-Labor Day counts show that the system had a total of 168,696 students. That's 2,029 more students than was projected. 

Of the seven public schools that Peachtree Corners attend, all had more students enrolled on Sept. 3 than on Aug. 8, the day after the 2013-14 school year began. In fact, Norcross High School posted the district's largest difference: 314 students more than expected. 

Norcross High currently has the district's second-largest enrollment, of 3,590 students. Only Mill Creek High in Hoschton had more students, with 3,721.

Here is a breakdown of the post-Labor Day enrollment numbers for Peachtree Corners-area schools.

Norcross Cluster:
Peachtree ES
Enrollment: 1,725; 117 more students than were enrolled Aug. 8.

Simpson ES
Enrollment: 814; 5 more students than were enrolled Aug. 8.

Pinckneyville M
Enrollment: 1,289; 69 more students than were enrolled Aug. 8

Norcross HS
Enrollment: 3,590; 314 more students than were enrolled Aug. 8

Duluth Cluster Schools:

Berkeley Lake ES
Enrollment: 1,115;  more students than were enrolled Aug. 8

Duluth MS
Enrollment: 2,039; 67 more students than were enrolled Aug. 8

Duluth HS
Enrollment: 2,642; 173 more students than were enrolled Aug. 8
