Simpson Elementary Student Recognized

Karson Smith, a second grade student, has been named the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club's student of the month.

On Monday, May 6, 2013 during its weekly meeting, the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club recognized recognized Karson Smith who attends Simpson Elementary School, as its student of the month.

A proclamation was presented which pronounced:

Simpson Elementary is proud to recognize Karson Smith from Ms. Walker’s second grade class as our Rotary Student of the Month.

Karson is an excellent student and we are proud of the exceptional learner and leader he has become during his years at Simpson. As a learner, he accepts every challenge given to him by his teachers. Karson is highly motivated to push himself further than any expectations. Whatever the task, Karson strives to be his very best. He shows enthusiasm for learning and works hard each and every day.

Karson is a courageous young man who strives every day to do what is right, instead of what is popular. He shows perseverance every day through his determination to complete tasks that are difficult. Karson impacts the lives of those around him by arriving to school with a smile on his face, a positive attitude, and a great big HELLO. His eagerness to learn is contagious and admirable.

During his spare time, outside of school, Karson enjoys playing with his dog “Diesel”, watching football with his parents, and spending time with family.

We are honored that Karson Smith is the Rotary Student of the Month. He is an outstanding young man who reflects Simpson Elementary’s Superstar Norms and Standards of Leadership.
