Monday, Nov. 11: Gwinnett Veterans Day Ceremony Pays Special Tribute to Vietnam VeteransThis year’s event will include a special “welcome home” ceremony for Vietnam veterans; veterans of the Vietnam War and their families are encouraged to attend and participate in the ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial, 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville. 

Monday, Nov. 11: Town Hall Meeting to Discuss Town Center DevelopmentCity Council members Alex Wright, Jeanne Aulbach and Lorri Christopher are hosting a town hall meeting starting at 7 p.m. at the Avocet Clubhouse, 820 Avocet Drive in Peachtree Corners. City leaders will discuss the development of the city-owned property on Peachtree Parkway, trash collection and other city-related topics.

Tuesday, Nov. 12: Christmas Canvas Art Class held at Peachtree Corners Baptist Church is open to adults, art experience nit necessary. Step-by-step instructions providedSpace is limited, registration required. Cost is $20, all supplies included. Click on link for more details including registration.

Saturday, Nov. 16: Turkey Trot Hosted by Berkeley Lake Elementary SchoolChoose a 4 mile or 1.5 mile fun run. Proceeds from race go to the PTSA's annual playground fundraiser. Online registration available until Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Saturday, Nov. 16: Norcross High School Baseball FundraiserGet your car washed and help support the Norcross Blue Devils Baseball Team at the same time. Purchase the Deluxe Wash ($14.99) and half the proceeds go to support the Norcross Baseball program.
