The Avocet clubhouse was full Monday night as city council members Jeanne Aulbach, Lorri Christopher and Alex Wright hosted a meeting to discuss plans for the property across from The Forum.


A new restaurant, an organic grocer and several other retailers have been secured for the four-acre development called "Peachtree Corners Market." The project is expected to be completed by next summer.


In Peachtree Corners, 17 crimes were reported in an 10-day period including four home burglaries.

Green Brothers, a local landscaping and supply company, expects to be open by spring 2014.
